Eco Cottage

Our Eco Cottages are made of locally available sustainable materials by local tradesmen and have a veranda to relax, read a book and to enjoy the view of our jungle like gardens. Each cottage has been built using the same techniques and materials that homes in the area have used for generations - we have just tweaked things a little to give them larger windows. They feature grass thatched roofs, wattle and daub, and mud-brick walls, and dry mud floors with locally made rugs and bamboo furniture. Bathrooms are tiled with shower, washbasin, and hygienic composting toilets (a first for Bardia). The rooms have 2 beds, a nightstand, a luggage rack, and a ceiling fan.

Accommodation in our simple but comfortably furnished twin eco-cottages provides the real Bardia experience in a comfortable, environmentally friendly and sustainable way.

The eco cottages have an 18m2 room with an 8m2 bathroom and a veranda of 6m2.
